Regional Hospital of Puerto Vallarta

Donating to the Regional Hospital of Puerto Vallarta

Miralo has been receiving donations for the Regional Hospital in Puerto Vallarta from our wonder customers during 2011 and will continue collecting in 2012.  The Regional Hospital is operated by the State of Jalisco and provides service for the "poorest of the poor" in the Vallarta area.  Everyday of the year, the hospital has many very basic needs.

There are over 600 babies born every month at the Regional Hospital and parents cannot even afford receiving blankets to take their newborns home in.  In conjunction with Pamela Thompson of HealthCare Resources of PV we are collecting items for the newborns:

bullet

Newborn receiving blankets

bullet

Children and infant Tylenol

bullet

Newborn clothes - size "Onesies"

We chose these items to allow our customers the opportunity to be able to bring to Puerto Vallarta these newborn baby needs since they are easy to transport and they pack well in the suitcase.  Also, they are easy to purchase in Puerto Vallarta for our local customers.

The receiving blankets and clothing may be purchased at local PV stores and if you are from up north, they can easily be found at stores such as Sears and Target.  While you are out doing a day of "garage saling", look for blankets and newborn onesies.  If you have the sewing talent, handmade receiving blankets would be wonderful.  The children's and infant Tylenol can be the generic store type of acetaminophen such as Walgreen's, Safeway, or Kroger brands to mention a few.

We do hope that you will be able to help us meet the needs of the newborns at the Regional Hospital.

Thank you again from Miralo in the anticipation of your help for the Regional Hospital and the newborn babies of PV.
